    Beginner Weaving Class
    Beginning Tuesday, March 16, 2010, Sally Moss, Master Weaver and longtime student of Lou Tate, will be offering a 10 week beginners weaving class. Create your own projects/designs (scarves, table runners, etc) at the historic Little Loomhouse, Tophouse Cabin. 10 weeks — Tuesdays — 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuition is $135.00 for the class which includes a membership in the Lou Tate Foundation If you are interested in enrolling, call Sally Moss at 502-239-7382. Class size limited to 8 students. Your paid tuition ensures your place. all day

Lou Tate Coverlet Collection

The Little Loomhouse partnered with the Speed Museum to photograph, catalogue and digitally preserve the Lou Tate Coverlet Collection. As of June 10, 2009, the collection is available for viewing on KOAR.org.

In order to search the collection, simply visit the site, review the terms and click “I accept”- that is if you do of course. Next, type Lou Tate in the search engine. It will bring up the entire collection.
